This high quality Test Lead Set has been designed with the automotive engineer in mind. Each kit comprises of:-

A pair of double insulated silicone test leads one end terminating in a straight fixed shrouded plug, the other in a right angled plug, both compatible with all standard 4mm instrument sockets.

A pair of large fully insulated crocodile clips with a wide jaw opening, ideal for battery terminals or Anderson clip connections.

A pair if Cable piercers for intrusive measurement taking, ideal for when back probing is not an option.

A pair of slim back probing probes, these incorporate a 'spring steel' prod which allows greater flexibility and less damage when attempting to override the rubber seal on some connectors.

The inset picture shows how the silicone leads can withstand high temperature, it can also withstand the heat of such things as hot manifolds and soldering iron tips.

Safety is often compromised when engineers are not given the correct tools to do the job required.

For instance how do you check the small pins on some MIL-C connectors when the test lead tips are too big and bulky?

Usually the engineers improvise, they collect mating pins in little pots and use them to create an extended test point. It works but the practice is fraught with danger, un-insulated electrical contacts with the risk of electric shock, possibly in a very confined space, the risk that the pin or pins could be dropped which could cause foreign object damage if not found.

Well there is now no need to take risks with this type of application The new Aero-Pin kit allows tests to be done safely and quickly.
 

Kit contains 2 sets of 4 screw in pins (each pin has male and female.

1 Red and 1 Black Double Insulated Silicone Test Lead. Each lead is terminated one end in a Right Angled 4mm Plug compatible with all standard 4mm instrument sockets, the other end is terminated in the unique 'screw in pin socket'

 The green crocodile clip, and one red and one black extender bar (Part no. 124162)  and the kit is housed in a rigid plastic case with a custom foam cut out.
